Additionally, subjects had cut time from their recorded 5×10-meter Shuttle Run test (approximately 1 second) and saw a 2cm improvement in their sit and reach test. 

3. Improve Coordination and Balance

Hand-eye coordination and eye-foot coordination are key elements of kickboxing. The martial art demands that you’re constantly in motion, performing the kicks, punches, defensive maneuvers and forms of steps. It’s reminiscent of a highly choreographed dance, or a movie fight scene. 

4. Improved Heart Health

Finally, aerobic exercise is a great way to keep your heart healthy. Add to that the fact that regular, high-intensity workouts are one of the best things you can do for keeping your heart healthy and you’ve got the recipe for fat-burning and muscle building, starting at just $12 for a session! Remember, studies have shown that belly fat may be linked to heart disease, there’s at least a correlation.
